The Entrepreneurship at Penn Engineering aims to train the founders and leaders of tomorrow’s high-tech ventures by providing knowledge, skills, and opportunities important to the creation and leadership of such startups.
Entrepreneurship at Penn Engineering equips engineering students with an entrepreneurial mindset and practical skills to address real-world challenges through technology. It supports faculty researchers in commercializing innovations. Penn Engineering Entrepreneurship fosters an environment where graduates can make an impact, whether as entrepreneurs, researchers, or industry leaders.
In addition to a various curricular programs, Entrepreneurship offers a number of learning, creating, and funding opportunities for people interested in creating their own ventures.
The Engineering Entrepreneurship Academic Program is designed specifically for engineers and scientists. Courses are approached from the perspective of the student whose primary interest is in technological innovation, whose primary concentration is on engineering and science courses, and who has little or no prior business education.
